Here is our take on this hearty classic, Bangers & Mash pairs juicy sausages with creamy mashed potatoes and peas, all topped with rich onion gravy. Comforting and full of flavor, this dish is simple to make yet incredibly satisfying.
PROTEIN: Irish Banger Sausages (4 ct)
SIDE: Yukon Gold Whipped Potatoes (24 oz)
SAUCE: The Fresh Market Onion Gravy (7 oz)
VEGGIE: English Peas (2 bags needed, 6 oz ea)
BREAD OR DESSERT: Demi Baguette (2 ct) or The Fresh Market Old Fashioned Lemon Pound Cake (16 oz)

Add sausages to a large skillet and add ½ inch water. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer over medium heat until sausages are poached, 6-8 minutes, turning halfway through cooking. Remove sausages to a plate, discard water and dry skillet with a paper towel. Return skillet to heat and add 1 tbsp vegetable oil. Add sausages to skillet and sear to brown on both sides, 4-5 minutes (internal temperature should reach 160°F).
While sausages are cooking, remove potatoes from packaging into a microwave-safe container and cover. Microwave on high 3-4 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking, until potatoes are warmed through.
Cook peas according to package instructions. Finish with salted butter* for richer flavor.
Once sausages are browned, turn heat to medium-low and add onion gravy. Heat, stirring occasionally, until gravy is warmed through.
For Demi Baguette: (Ready to eat. Heating instructions follow, if desired.) Place in 350°F oven directly on rack and heat for 5 minutes until bread is warmed through. For softer bread, sprinkle with a small amount of water and wrap in foil before placing in oven.
To Serve: Divide potatoes and peas onto 4 plates. Place a sausage on each plate and spoon gravy over top. Serve alongside baguette, if using.
