So warm and delicious. Not too sweet. Helped me get over my cold
What an easy and flavorful dish
I made this for our Canasta party Sunday supper everybody raved about it.
I have made this for my family several times and they love it! The fresh avocado is especially good when added. As a working mom, this healthy and delicious slow cooker meal is a go to option!
I tried this recipe and incorporated several suggestions from earlier customer reviews. These included reducing the bone broth to 6 cups, adding a 15 oz can of black beans drained & rinsed, and 1/4 cup frozen corn kernels. The soup was good freshly cooked, however was REALLY yummy after refrigerating and reheating. (I do not consider reheating soup to be “eating leftovers” in this case). Agree with earlier review not to skip finishing the soup with the fresh lime juice. I will be taking a closer look at other The Fresh Market recipes!
Omg! I love this recipe for Tortilla soup! I only used 4 cups of chicken broth, added small can of tomato paste to thicken it up and used 2lbs of chicken instead of 1lb. I added cayenne spice and garlic powder....will become a staple in my recipe rotation! Thanks!
I tried this soup at a Saturday tasting event at fresh market and it has become a staple in our home ever since. Instead of all the listed spices i just use a packet of taco seasoning and fresh cilantro. Fontera salsa is best too. We top with Monterey jack cheese, sour cream and avocado. So yummy!!
Fantastic!
This was fantastic! Made two batches at once to put in the freezer. I reduced the broth to just 2 cups to make it less soupy & more saucy. Served over pasta & it was perfect! Will absolutely make again & again!
I made this and it was delicious It had some oomph to it loved it Thank u
Super easy! Tasted great. Thank you for posting this one.
Awesome and healthy!
Thank you for the recipe. Very easy , yum....
Easy recipe and one can take shortcuts to cut prep and cooking time down. Very tasty. I did add black beans to recipe along with Tex Mex RF shredded cheese.. you could use this recipe for either main entree or a dip with the tortilla strips. Perfect either way for Super Bowl Sunday.
Loved this soup! One bowl was not enough.
Xlnt! Simple and delish. We will make this again!
This is a VERY GOOD soup! I love chicken tortilla soup and this one is a keeper. 1 lb of boneless skinless chicken breasts was about 2 large breasts. When the soup was almost finished it didn't look like nearly enough chicken so I defrosted one more breast, cut it up and sauteed it in a skillet with extra virgin olive oil and spices like garlic powder and all-purpose seasoning. It's exactly what it needed! I would also not skip the lime juice addition at the end. It really brightens up the flavors! Thank you for the recipe. I will DEFINITELY make it again!
Seasoning was excellent, I substituted leftover roasted chicken and it made a complete, relatively “light” meal that was very filling.
I did this recipe in a cast iron pot on stove top. Too late in the day for crock pot. Sautéed chicken and vegetables in a TBS of olive oil and then added rest of ingredients . Simmered for 2-3 hours . Served with some fresh scallion and sprinkle of sharp cheddar. Delicious!
This is so easy and feels and tastes so good on these chilly nights.
This is exactly what my family wanted. THANK you Fresh Market for an awesome recipe. Mexican food is so delicious and good for you. Good way to get lots of vegetables in our diet. It's a winner and a keeper.
Add black beans and corn. I also added tomatoes juice. Simmered on stove top done in 35 min. Garnished with fresh cilantro, shredded sharp cheese , avacado, sour cream, and some tortillas sprinkled with pepito seeds and served with lime wedge. To round out the meal I made cheese quesadillas yum! Hearty easy and filling.
This is amazing. My husband and I loved it. We’ll be making it again and again! Thanks FM. Another great recipe!
Delicious!!!!
Delish, full of flavor.
My family liked this soup. I added cooked rice at the end to make it a little more filling.
delicious
Yowzahh. Great, zings and perfect for this cold weather.
This is by far my favorite chili recipe! It is easy to make and tastes delicious. I am so glad that I took advantage of this Little Big Meal.
