Glaze
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt; set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat pumpkin, oils, sugar and eggs until thoroughly blended. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Fold in walnuts and raisins. Divide batter evenly between two greased loaf pans. Bake 50-55 minutes. Cool in pans for 15 minutes then remove from pans and place on wire racks; allow to cool completely.
Combine confectioners sugar, orange zest and orange juice in a small bowl; stir with a spoon until well blended. Spoon over cooled pumpkin loaves, allowing excess glaze to drizzle down the sides. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts before glaze hardens.

2021 and I’m still making this, one of the best…
It is marvelous.
I have been making this for the past 3 years..... delish
This is a great holiday recipe. I make two loaves and give one away.
One of the best I've ever tasted......
This was a delicious new Holiday bread that our whole family would loved. It was a perfect Christmas morning breakfast addition to our eggs and grits. I made it two days before and kept it in the refrigerator covered with foil in it's original pan and reheated it when ready to serve. This recipe is fine the way it is, however, we are all trying to cut down on our sugar intake, so I only used 1 1/2 cups of sugar and it was plenty sweet. I considered that with the sweet drizzle on top it would probably be just fine and it was! I look forward to making this again!
Easy to find ingredients....will appear on our traditional Christmas brunch table yr after yr. A hit with my grown children as well as my 6 yr old!
Very moist. Would use more raisins. In place of walnuts in glaze I used grated fresh orange peel. I give this recipe 5 stars
Saw this on internet and thought, granddaughter works there. So I called her and asked if people like this cake and she said, oh yes. So I decided to give it a try and now I'm making it for gifts....giving this a 5star.....
This bread is so delicious and I didn’t even use the orange glaze! This will definitely be one of my go to recipes.
Really easy and nice
