Fresh Cranberry Ginger Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh cranberries
  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 orange, zested and juiced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated

Directions

Combine cranberries, sugar and orange juice in a sauce pot. Bring mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium low. Simmer for 10-15 minutes, allowing some of the cranberries to burst. Add ginger and orange zest and stir to combine. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from heat allow to cool slightly before serving.
