OVEN BROIL: Place salmon skin side-down on foil-lined sheet pan. Season flesh side evenly with chili lime rub and cover with plastic wrap. Let sit for 30 minutes or refrigerate up to 2 hours.
Preheat broiler to high and place pan 6 inches under the broiler. Broil for about 6 minutes. Brush maple syrup evenly over salmon and continue broiling 2 minutes more. To serve, top with a squeeze of fresh lime juice and green onions.
AIR FRYER: In a shallow bowl, mix the chili lime rub and maple syrup. Add the salmon and turn it in the rub and maple syrup mixture until the fillets are well-coated. Let sit for 30 minutes or refrigerate up to 2 hours.
Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Cook for 12-15 minutes until the surface is browned and salmon is cooked through. To serve, top with a squeeze of fresh lime juice and green onions.
*Cook salmon to an internal temperature of 145°F

Huge hit! Quick and easy to prepare. We are big salmon eaters and this recipe was amazing. Entire family loved it. Seasoning is a little spicy but once you add the maple syrup it is well balanced. Do not forget the lime at the end. The lime adds a great flavor.
This salmon was delicious! I used King salmon(from Fresh Market, of course!) and we prepared on the grill. We will definitely be making this again!

I have always grilled salmon on a cedar plank . This recipe was the easiest and quickest way to cook salmon but the taste and texture is the best I’ve ever had ! It’s definitely my favorite and a winner .

What a delightful palette please! The only changes I made to the recipe was honey in place of the syrup and no onions. I paired my salmon with cauliflower mash and sauteed asparagus.
