What started as a dream of Ray and Beverly Berry in 1982 is now an 88-store privately owned enterprise.  The Fresh Market continues to grow at a rate of 10 to15% per year (approximately 9 to 12 stores a year) and with each new opening comes the opportunity to select up to 100 new employees.

The Fresh Market provides applicants an opportunity to view all new store openings and locations on our web site.  The Fresh Market will begin sourcing potential candidates for our Assistant Store Manager openings 20 weeks out from Grand Opening date.  We will begin sourcing our Department Manager openings 12 weeks out from Grand Opening date.  The Fresh Market Recruitment team in partnership with the New Store Team will host an Open House event in the new location for the upcoming store approximately 6 weeks out from Grand Opening date.  

We place all openings for our new stores on our Career Site and provide all interested applicants with the Open House date as well as detailed job descriptions and requirements for each opening.  Applicants are welcome to complete our on-line application process to be considered for a new store position.
